Great resort, great beach, great restaurants at this and the sister resort next door. Pools were not kept warm enough to make swimming comfortable while we were there.

The, overall, staff was helpful and friendly, however, the continuous hounding to go to the Timeshare presentations and staff at the bottom of the drive making sure you weren't going to other presentations at competitors hotels was quite annoying. Our room leaked in both the kitchen and bathroom plus the shower had zero pressure, but they had no available rooms until the 2nd to last night. The all inclusive option was not advertised to us the first couple of days but learned from other guests at the hotel how it worked. They should ask guests when they check-in if they would like to hear how it is all set up and what your options are. This place was in a great location but our view was not what we expected. The pool below our balcony was under construction. Very loud. Lots of noise.

The price was great and the hotel met my expectations. The food in the restaurants weren't four star for the money just average.

We have stayed in other Villa Del Palmar resorts, so knew what to expect - we were very satisfied except for the noisy people on spring break late at night.

I don't think this hotel/time share type give privacy to their customers. They spy on people of what we're doing, where we're going. Not a great place to stay if what you want is relaxing and peace and quite and an alone time. ...read more

15 minute walk to center of town. Local buses available at bottom of hill. Cost for workout room was $10 per day. Nice machines. On the beach.

This resort is really quite nice. The room was large, nicely appointed and provided a full kitchen setup if one wanted to do their own cooking. If not, the hotel restaurants offered some very reasonable prices as did the on site grocery store.
